A copy of our accounts for the 2014 financial year is available on request. In summary, donations and income from use of buildings is up and we have enough funds to complete upgrade of the manse, but there is work to be done on the main church building which will require substantial sums of money so we continue to fundraise.

We have always found stewardship campaigns difficult as we are a smallish congregation with members on fixed and probably low incomes. Nevertheless the village is noted for the generous donations made to charities. If there were a specific appeal for funds then we might expect support. At times when money was mentioned from the pulpit there has been a small increase in giving.

Every other year, in recent years, there has been a flower festival in the church which has been enjoyed by all and helped with fundraising. Also, quilt exhibitions were held in 2013 and 2015 that attracted a lot of interest and again helped with fundraising.

We aim to be a Christ centred family:

  • Bible based in our discipleship
  • Together in our worship
  • Caring in our community
  • Serving with our God-given gifts
