Christian Aid Week this year is 15–21 May
Jesus calls us to love our neighbour as ourselves, and not just the ones next door or at the end of the street. Christian Aid Week unites churches to put this love in to action. http://www.caweek.org/
Sunday 22nd May 8:40am Christian Aid Big Brekkie Prayer Breakfast before 10am Service
Care for a croissant? Partial to pain au chocolate? Like to munch on muesli or breakfast on a bacon roll? If you share Jesus’ heart for people living in extreme poverty, join us for a Big Brekkie fundraiser on Sunday 22nd May. Let Morag know if you’re coming so she knows numbers to expect.
God promises a kingdom where the poor are blessed and the hungry are satisfied. By coming for breakfast this Christian Aid Week, you can play your part in bringing this kingdom about, answering God’s call to love our neighbours. If you can’t make it, you can still give a donation towards the work of Christian Aid to Morag.
As Jesus explains in his parable of the Good Samaritan, our neighbours aren’t just the people who live next door or down the street. Every one of us is a neighbour – loved by God and to be loved by his followers.
The Christian Aid Cardinal Munro Challenge
